Obituary for Andrew Gillespie

Andrew   Gillespie
Andrew T. Gillespie of Croydon passed away Friday, April 6, 2018 at his residence. He was 85 years old. Andrew was born in Philadelphia and has been a resident of Croydon for the last 44 years. He was a graduate for S.E. Catholic High School, Class of 1950. Andrew was a proud US Army Veteran and was a member American Legion Post #960. He worked for the US Postal Service as a mail carrier for 31 years and after his retirement, he worked as a school bus driver for the Wood School for 20 years. Andrew will be sadly missed by his loving children John (Edie), Catherine and Joseph Gillespie. He is also survived by his 2 grandsons Edward and Andrew Gillespie. Andrew was preceded in death by his children Michael Gillespie and Maureen Carroll. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his visitation Monday, April 16, 2018 from 10:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 601 Bristol Pike, Croydon, PA 1902, followed by his Mass of Christian Burial 11:30 AM.
