Obituary for Julia Risich

Julia   Risich
Julia Risich of Bensalem passed away suddenly Saturday, February 17, 2018 at her residence. She was 71 years old. Julia was born in Philadelphia and was a longtime resident of Bensalem. Julia was a member of Bensalem UME Church, Julia retired from Lower Bucks Childrens Center where she worked as an Administrative Assistant, and before that worked for the Bensalem School District. She also worked as a Judge of Elections in Bucks County. Julia was a” Mother to all”, she was forever helping others, and sharing things with all. She enjoyed Crocheting, going to the mountains, Bowling, playing Bunko, and assorted card games; specifically, Pinochle, but her greatest joy and love was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren with whom she played all types of games, specifically Baseball, Pinochle, and Racko. Julia is survived by her husband of almost 50 years, Thomas. She was the devoted mother of Michael T. (wife Christina) and Thomas C. She will be sadly missed by her grandchildren Taylor, Brandon, and Isabella, her sister Mary Howells, a host of nieces and nephews, and by all who knew her. Julia was preceded in death by her sister Arlene. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her viewing, Wednesday from 6 to 8 PM and Thursday from 10 to 11am at the Tomlinson Funeral Home, P.C., 2207 Bristol Pike, Bensalem, PA 19020, followed by her service at 11am. Interment will be at Oakland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in her memory may be made to American Lung Association 305 S. 13th st. Phila, PA 19107. www.tomlinsonfh.com
