The Memorial Candle Program has been designed to help offset the costs associated with the hosting this Tribute Website in perpetuity. Through the lighting of a memorial candle, your thoughtful gesture will be recorded in the Book of Memories and the proceeds will go directly towards helping ensure that the family and friends of Albert Carp can continue to memorialize, re-visit, interact with each other and enhance this tribute for future generations.

Thank you.

Condolences

Condolence From: Ann Marie Anthony
Condolence: My deepest sympathy to Albert and Eve and family on the loss of your dear father. I remember him as a friendly and kind man whom I saw through the years at many of Carole and Andy’s functions. I called him Uncle Al like they did. He always had a cheerful greeting and a nice smile.

Condolence: To the Carp Family,
So very sorry to hear the news about your Father's passing. You could tell how much he enjoyed his family. He was of the old school and raised the Carp Family well.... A great well respected man indeed.
So sorry that we can not attend his services but we are in Florida to visit our son Patrick. Please except our sincere condolences and your family will be in our prayers.

Condolence From: Beautiful Tricia
Condolence: My Pop-Pop

That’s what I call him when I speak of him to others; my Pop-Pop. He’s not all mine though, I do share him with my 7 cousins and 2 sisters. I share him with his 10 great grandchildren, his 5 children, his one living sister and her children. I share him with my husband, his neighbors, Tammy’s softball team, and to be honest, everyone that meets him. Because to know him is to love him with all of your heart. There is no one like him because they broke the mold when they made him. “Ain’t that right Hon? You know it!”

I was his favorite. Well, I like to think I was his favorite. The truth is, we are all his favorite. (Disclaimer: this is hard to admit.)That’s what’s so great about my Pop-Pop, when you were with him, you were the most important person in the world. His love was unconditional and flawless. He saw the best in everyone and every situation. In a sometimes cynical world, he was a beacon of light and a reflection of what is best on earth.

I had the honor and privilege of holding his hand when he took his last breath. His last gift to me. One that I will never forget and cherish forever. Thanks Pop-Pop for everything; the root beer floats, the big band music, your smile, your patience, your forgiveness, your love for family, your legacy. I will love you forever. I’m so, so grateful I had you for so long. Xo
