We extend our deepest sympathy to family and friends of this wonderful person. Mrs Jarvis touch so many throughout her life thru the church and civic community of Cornwells Heights. She was a lifelong close family friend who attended school with my parents.
Mrs Jarvis was a member of the Class of 1940 Bensalem HS along my parents, Rev Charles Mudie, and Gene DiGirolamo Sr.
The Jarvis children and McCarthy's lived a few blocks away and our seven and the Jarvis 5 all attended St charles together. Mom and Mrs Jarvis were active at St Charles for over 60 yrs. She was a guild member and associate of ST Katherine Drexel's Sisters of The Blessed Sacrament. Mr Jarvis and dad bowled at rose bowl years ago and this good man took dad on many fishing trip from their home in Mystic Islands,NJ. I was proud to be considered as a friend of this magnificent and kind woman all my life. As a founder and member of the historic society she had an amazing recollection of events into her 97th year. We had many fascinating visits and I could learn something new every time. After my own mom died several years ago, being with Mrs Jarvis seemed more meaningful. I was close to Charlie all the way thru High School and she was so proud to fill in all the gaps throughout his life. I love the picture of her posted here in her hoodie a couple years ago at West Point when Charlie was inducted into the Football Hall of Fame. The smile was always priceless. We will keep the family and all who loved her in our prayers. And we thank God for the lives of Mr and Mrs Jarvis.
Tom & Sarah and all of the McCarthy Family.
